Remember that a weight problem is a basic math problem. To solve it, you must burn more calories than you put in your body. The problem for most people is that when they try to lose weight without exercise they end up starving themselves. Not to mention the repercussions this can have on an already fragile metabolism. If you don’t work to achieve a good measure of personal fitness, even if you happen to shed some pounds with deprivation alone, you’ll may still feel terrible inside. Don’t forget, many generations have been working hard and feeling fit way before treadmills and elliptical machines existed.
